Usbong Update: No need to recompile .apk to display images (Sept. 5, 2012)

Hi everyone,
I've just uploaded to Google Play
the latest version of Usbong (Sept. 5, 2012).

It should be available for download within 24hrs
(depends on Google's servers).

Also, if you've downloaded the .apk already,
you should also get an update message.

Note: Sometimes, you may have to delete the app,
and then re-install it again for it to work.

Tasks accomplished:
fixed: no need to recompile Usbong to include images in trees
added: .utrees (new file format containing the .xml trees and res files (e.g. images, etc)

+ fixed : can read <tree name>.utree zip file
--> take note that it's NOT <tree name>.utree.zip
--> should really be <tree name>.utree

+ added: auto-generate sdcard/usbong/usbong_trees/temp/ folder
--> this is where <tree name>.utree is unzipped.
--> this folder is deleted every "New Entry"

+ fixed : backwards compatibility (able to read .xml file AND <tree name>.utree folder)
+ added: auto-generate: usbong_demo_tree.utree (contains usbong_demo_tree.xml and /res/sample_image.png)
+ fixed : gps bug (if after retrieving your long and lat locations, you go to the next screen, and back again, you'll get a forced close)
+ fixed : if the image cannot be found, the default ("no image") .png is displayed.
Applications:
+ interactive storybooks (we'll be doing this in my Nihongo class)
+ digital pamphlets (e.g. exercises for physical therapy)

Hooray,
Mike
